Are you new to knitting? An expert looking for a new project? We have just the knitting classes for you!

Our knitting classes, offered to children as well as adults, each run for 3 weeks and take place at Benjamin’s Books. Required materials are available from Cricket Cove, the newest addition to our shop.

A big reminder going out to all knitters and crocheters: Every Thursday, we have a Knit In from 10 am – 12 pm. Come knit and enjoy the company and support of others who crochet or knit.  No charge.

We are thrilled to currently offer the following classes.

1. Adult Beginner- Owl Dishcloth
Learn the basics of knitting. Knit and purl stiches, casting on and casting off . Materials: 1 skein worsted yarn. 1 set of 5mm straight  needles. Dates: November 6, 13 & 20th

2. Fingerless Mitts- For the Intermediate Knitter
Dalarna Snowflake Mitts.  Twining in colour, learning how to make a herringbone braid. Materials: 1 100g skein(220 yards) in each of two colours Aran yarn, heavy worsted weight.  Five 3.75mm needles. Dates: November 6, 13 & 20th
