Are you new to knitting? An expert looking for a new project? We have just the knitting classes for you!

Our knitting classes are offered to children as well as adults, and take place at Benjamin’s Books. Required materials are provided by Cricket Cove, the newest addition to the our shop.

We are thrilled to currently offer the following classes:

1. Learn to Knit for children aged 7 & up
     Learn to knit your very own scarf.
     Dates: Saturday, February 11, 18, and 25
     Time: 11 am – 12 pm
      $40 (plus tax) includes required supplies

2. Basic Sock Class – Evening Class
      Knit a pair of socks on four needles (some knitting experience required).
      Dates: Tuesday, February 21, 28, and March 13
      Time: 6 – 8 pm
      $30 (plus tax) plus materials

3. Beginners’ Knitting Class
     Knit a scarf and learn the basics of knitting on two needles.
     Dates: Tuesday, February 14, 21, and 28
     Time: 9 – 11 am
     $30 (plus tax) plus materials

4. Fingerless Mitts on 4 Needles
     Graduate to 4 needles and make a sweet little pair of fingerless mitts. Just right for
      texting!
      Dates: Tuesday, February 14, 21, ad 28
      Time: 1 -3 pm
      $30 (plus tax) plus materials

5. Toe Up Socks
      Socks like you’ve never known them! 1 or 2 socks at a time – your choice. Learn to knit
      Cat Bordhi’s easy toe and heel. Knitting experience required.
      Dates: Monday, February 6, 13, and 20
      Time: 10 am – 12 pm
      $30 (plus tax) plus materials
      Materials: Opal sock yarn, 2.75mm, 32″ circular (1 sock)/ 2.75mm, 40″ circular (2
      socks) available at shop
