Based on his holiday song, Harry Connick, Jr. has created a storybook of the same name. Eubie the Elf is the happiest elf in the North Pole. In fact, he is so happy that sometimes he annoys the other elves and drives them crazy. This Christmas Eve, the senior elf on staff gives Eubie the job of checking the “naughty or nice list”, knowing this quiet job will keep him busy and out of everyone else’s way.
Although he does not look forward to this task, Eubie commits to it and discovers something very strange! He has come across a town, appropriately named Bluesville, where there is not ONE child on the nice list. They are all on the naughty list. How could this be?
Being an inquisitive kind of elf, Eubie risks his reputation and breaks the most important rule of the North Pole. He uses his magic hat to take him to Bluesville. He quickly discovers why all of the children are on the naughty list. After meeting with a few of the children, Eubie sets out to convert the townspeople to a happier way of life. Can Eubie do it or will he find himself in trouble with Santa for breaking the rules of the North Pole?
Lately, there have been so many elves sent to our homes to watch children’s behaviour that this story will truly resonate with little ones at this wonderful time of the year!
**As a bonus, Harry Connick ,Jr.’s CD with the song is included in the book.**
