In this entertaining Elliot Moose Story, poor Elliot hears strange noises in the night. When he asks his friends about the noises they act quite brave and laugh at the idea. Despite a delicious bedtime snack and his friends chattering, Elliot cannot stop thinking about the night noises. Finally, Elliot asks his wise friend Beaverton if he knows what the sounds are. As expected, Beaverton explains each sound to Elliot comforting him greatly. As Elliot snuggles down for a long sleep, his once-brave friends enter his room one-by-one because they too hear the sounds. Now it is Elliot who is brave and welcomes them all into his cozy bed. However there is one sound that Elliot does not recognize. Who could it be?

Little ones who fear the dark will relate to Elliot but after reading this story will no doubt feel a whole lot more brave!
